Established in 2004, Rocky Point Wee School is a ministry of Rocky Point Baptist Church.  It is our aim to provide a quality education in a stimulating environment in which every student is cared for spiritually, physically, and emotionally so that they are able to reach their full potential.  We believe that God desires a wonderful future for each child. We are committed to giving your children all the love, encouragement and training necessary to help each one achieve what the Lord has planned for them.

Our purpose is to ensure each child is surrounded by well-trained teachers dedicated to instilling a desire and love for learning. We are passionate about teaching your children essential life skills and biblical principles that will help them as they grow.

We use a combination of two distinctly Christian curricula. Our primary curriculum is the A Beka program and we supplement this with the Church Weekday Early Education curriculum.  Group and individual activities are planned around centers of art, blocks, puzzles, nature, music, and home living. Bible concepts are taught daily through stories, conversations and song.

Our spacious facilities provide children with inviting classrooms, a spacious gymnasium, and outdoor playgrounds.

We supplement our intentional classroom instruction with various special programs and activities throughout the school year including:

  • Chapel
  • Gymnastics
  • Field trips
  • Seasonal class parties
  • Spring Carnival
  • Graduation Presentation

We offer a variety of enrollment options depending on the age of your child and the frequency of attendance you desire:

  • Classes:  2, 3, 4-year olds & Kindergarten (determined by age on September 1st)
  • Days:  Two, three, four & five day programs
  • Hours:  9:00am – 3:00pm each day

To accommodate parents who need childcare before and after our regularly scheduled school day, we offer extended care programs as follows:

  • Mornings: 7:30am – 8:45am
  • Afternoons: 3:00pm – 5:30pm

“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14
